NCC is proud to announce that three of its innovative medical device products have been selected for the 2024 Shanghai Technology Innovation Action Plan. This recognition highlights our commitment to advancing medical technology and improving patient care through innovative solutions.


 Selected Projects

 

The following projects have been included in the action plan:

 

1. Intraoperative Nerve Stimulation Monitoring System:

   Led by Huashan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, this project aims to establish a central nervous monitoring system that allows experienced monitoring personnel to remotely assess and guide multiple neurosurgical procedures simultaneously. The goal is to enhance the monitoring capabilities of intraoperative electrophysiological specialists and improve clinical diagnostic abilities. The system will implement data collection and analysis mechanisms to create an early warning system for intraoperative monitoring, ensuring high-quality control and guidance during surgeries.

 

2. Neuroprotective Tracheal Intubation in Otolaryngology:

   This project, spearheaded by the Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital affiliated with Fudan University, focuses on upgrading existing monitoring methods and tools. By incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, the project aims to develop adaptive neuro-monitoring devices that can adjust to different surgical scenarios and patient characteristics based on collected clinical data.

 

3. Single-Use Needle Electrodes in Orthopedics:

   Led by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University, this project involves the design improvements of single-use needle electrodes to integrate them with commonly used orthopedic surgical instruments. This innovation aims to streamline procedures, enhance operational efficiency, and improve safety during orthopedic surgeries. The project will also explore various parameters such as electrode shape, performance, and materials to ensure suitability for different surgical techniques.
