NCC Selected for Shanghai's Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan in Biomedicine

In an exciting development for the field of biomedical innovation, NCC has been selected for the "Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan" for 2024. Our project, titled "Research and Clinical Application of an Integrated Intelligent Monitoring System for Sensory and Motor Nerves Related to Ear, Nose, and Throat," has successfully made it onto the list of approved projects aimed at advancing biomedicine.

 Partnership with Renowned Institutions

This innovative project is a collaboration with the ENT Department of the Ninth People's Hospital. The primary goal is to develop a highly integrated, user-friendly, and intelligent monitoring system specifically designed for ENT applications. Our system aims to implement an AI warning feature that effectively combines nerve detection with functional assessment. This advancement will enable comprehensive monitoring of multiple cranial nerves without relying on electrophysiology technicians.

The "Public Hospital High-Quality Development Promotion Action (2021-2025)" emphasizes enhancing clinical research capabilities and establishing a new research mechanism focused on translation and clinical needs. This initiative calls for strengthening research teams and technological systems, highlighting the importance of technological advancements in supporting high-quality hospital development.
